Fall with me

There’s this stupid article in the paper today about how Ben and Jerry of Ben and Jerry’s are backing OWS with a ton of money.

I think it’s pathetic. We’d all love some real social change but in all honesty, the so-called 1% deserve what they make. We shouldn’t be the ones to judge because we don’t make that kind of money. Plus, as one of my high school teachers put it, the real 99% are the people who show up to work everyday, work long hours and don’t take all of their luxuries with them to live in a park when they could be working to possibly make their own lives better. The continued disorganization of the occupy movement is disappointing and in my opinion, should stop until they, as a whole, come up with a set plan. Right now, they just look like a bunch of hipsters with too much time on their hands. If the time for social change is now, I think it’s about time the faces behind the movement grew the fuck up.
